So you can know a little about me, I would like to
give you a little background history. While I was in school in 1984 preparing to get my manicurist license, I discovered that certain smells and odors of acrylic made me very sick while practicing "hands on" skills during class. I actually coughed up chunks of hardened acrylic that had formed in the pockets of my tonsils. This was enough for me to decide that was not going to be my life long product. Fortunately at that time a new product called "Gels" had hit the market and it was introduced to me by a professional nail company called Lady Fingers. After a year of working in a salon applying Gel Nails, I was offered and trained in a full time position with "Lady Fingers" as a "Gel Nail Tech Educator" covering 12 states. My job was to sell, show demonstrations, work Cosmetology Conventions, set up classes and teach licensed manicurist Gel application.

In all these years, I have never given up on gels. The gel reputation has gone through a lot of ups and downs but it has always remained my #1 choice of nail overlay because of its many benefits. I live in Las Vegas and have become a very successful "Gel Nail Tech" with an overflowing business. I have discovered that there is a lack of education and confusion as to understanding the real "Wet Gel" process.
Reasons To Use Gel
1) If you use polish, do your fingernails or toenails get smudged sometimes before they are dry .(gel has no drying time,it's completely dried while curing in the lamp)
2) When you are changing your toenail polish at home do you worry that the polish remover will ruin your newly manicured fingernails? (chemicals won't disturb gels)
3) When color or art is being applied to your newly manicured nail is it sometimes not what you want but you are stuck with it anyway,and are you given many choices to choose from?(I have hundreds of gel colors and personal art choices to choose from)
5) Is your overlay product yellowing in tanning beds and between fills,and are there visual demarcation lines after every fill?(gel never yellows nor are there visual fill lines.it always looks new and fresh and stays shinny between every fill service.)
6) Do you deal with strong toxic odors while being serviced? (wet gel has NO odor)
7) Are you constantly getting cracks, lifts, and broken nails repaired?(gels are based with resin which is a form of plastic which gives bend ability and elastisacity to the nail allowing more strength)
8) Are you able to stretch your budget and save money between appointments and still have beautiful looking nails between each fill service?(for most ladies, gels last 3-4 weeks and still look amazing)
9) Are you returning to the same nail artist for secured service each time you are due for a fill.( it's important to keep the same manicurist who's applying your gels so she can keep your natural nail healthy.(I'm always concerned about keeping my ladies natural nails as healthy as possible)
